Communication operates with a transmitter, receiver and medium. This can be coupled itteratively to achivecomplex communiction mechanisms.

For example: Endal speaks (with mouth) to Elemere (who happens to be listening with the ears) in a room full of air. Alternatively, if Elemere was deaf, she could try listening by lip reading. Or, Endal could try to use sign language.
